Ungarra CFS

The South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) serves communities through dedicated volunteers delivering professional fire and rescue services to outer metropolitan, regional and rural South Australia. We are an all-hazards agency responding to bushfire, building fire, road crash rescue and hazardous material spills.

  • Ungarra CFS have an active base and volunteer group. Members can join from 15 years of age as a cadet, with occasional training and a willingness to volunteer time to respond to local, state or even interstate bushfires.

  • As a volunteer you will work side by side with other volunteers in times of emergency and learn new and valuable skills that will help you in day-to-day life and in your workplace. Most of all you get to help make your community a safer place to live in and enjoy the support from your community for your efforts.
