Hi, my name is Harry and I am a local builder from the Eyre Peninsula. I service my local community from Ungarra to Coffin Bay, Cummins, Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln, and all the farmers in between.

I have always had a passion for woodworking since I was a young kid, however in Germany I was accepted for an apprenticeship to be an Industrial Mechanic. From this line of work I gained knowledge in working with machinery with a key eye for detail. I came to Australia in 2007 as a backpacker and fell in love with the country and later an Aussie woman.
So Australia is now my home and I couldn’t be happier! In 2011 an opportunity arose to work for a Builder in Surrey Hills Melbourne. Since then I have been able to work for various builders, completing my Apprenticeship in Carpentry, Certificate IV in Building and Construction and in 2018 I attained my Builders License which has allowed me to start up my own business… German Built Construction. In 2022, our family decided to move to the Eyre Peninsula to be closer to family. We landed in Cummins, and were warmly welcome to the community. In 2024 we moved to Ungarra and are thankful to be living in another welcoming and friendly community.

I love Australia, its culture and work ethic, yet I cannot deny that I have been shaped by my childhood and young adult life in Germany. I love all things quality and have a perfectionist eye. I am not satisfied until the job meets my high standard and this is true to most things German made. My aim for German Built Constructions is to do a job well done for you my customer, so that we both part ways with a smile, happy to do business together in the future.

The cost process is calculated on a case by case basis in communication with the client.
For a standard job with a clear timeframe and material costs would normally warrants a fixed quote is calculated.
If there are unknowns depending on the complexity of the job, an estimate can be given with clear communication throughout the project.
Sometimes an hourly rate is arranged with an estimate for time given.
Overall, German Built Construction seeks a fair price for all, the customer and the worker. This outcome is always achieved through constant clear communication.
